Decide whether you are changing the app or changing the account. Outlook, Spark and Superhuman sit on top of the mailbox you already have, so switching is reversible and mostly a question of how you like to triage. Fastmail and Proton Mail replace the mailbox itself, which is the bigger move and the only one that changes who can read it.
